Destin History and Fishing Museum

The Destin History and Fishing Museum is a 501 C3 Non-Profit run by a Board of Directors. Since their founding in 2005 the museum has preserved and taught the city’s history. The museum features the history of the early pioneers from the 1830s and the history of the fishing industry from seine boats to the boats that you see in the Destin Harbor today.

Indian Temple Mound Museum

The Fort Walton Mound is an archaeological site located in present-day Fort Walton Beach, Florida, United States. The large platform mound was built about 850 CE by the Pensacola culture, a local form of the Mississippian culture.

Emerald Coast Science Center

The Emerald Coast Science Center is hands-on science discovery center located in Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa County, Florida. Step outside the box and experience science firsthand in their interactive museum including the STEAM Machine, new exhibits, animal encounters, and more!  The center has promoted STEAM education and public outreach in Okaloosa County and beyond for over 30 years and is committed to serving Northwest Florida, its residents, and its visitors through excellent STEAM programming and exhibits.

Air Force Armament Museum

The Air Force Armament Museum is the only museum in the world dedicated to the collection, preservation and exhibition of artifacts and memorabilia associated with Air Force Armament and its platforms of delivery. There are over 29 different aircraft that have found a home at the Air Force Armament Museum including an AC-130, B-17, B-25, B-52, P-51, A-10, F-15, F-16, F-100, F-101, and many other aircraft from the WWII era to the present. There are also several hundred pieces of armament to include a gun collection, bombs, bomblets and missiles to include the Sparrow, Sidewinder, cluster bombs, Bunker Buster and the MOAB.
